Our Colleges

At Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC), we know that education changes lives and strengthens communities. We are proud of the work we do and the role we play as THE Community’s College.

EICC serves and supports students, businesses, and communities throughout Clinton, Muscatine, Scott, and Jackson counties, and within parts of Cedar and Louisa counties. We started with three main campuses – Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott – and we’ve grown to make higher education more accessible. The College now operates and/or offers programs in 17 facilities across our 120-mile district.

In AY2022-23, EICC served 12,167 students through credit programs, and 14,519 through continuing education programs. Our graduates are using their education to launch careers and lives right here in eastern Iowa. That grows our businesses and local economy.

Our partners -- residents and businesses – help drive and guide our programs, and they support our work. EICC invites industry representatives to share program feedback and workforce perspective as CTE Advisory Board members. This allows us to design and deliver an affordable, high-quality education that fills the talent pipeline.

Our K-12 school districts are just as involved. Through our partnerships with districts across the region, more than 5,000+ high school students each year are enrolling in EICC’s concurrent classes and Career Academy programs. These teens are exploring professional fields, building in-demand skills, and are already on the path to a great career.

Residents also believe in the work we do because they’ve witnessed the impact. EICC’s most recent bond referendum passed in 2021 with 70% of voter support. As we promised, the $40 million was used to build and equip three new Career Advancement Centers and a new Health Science wing at the Scott campus.

EICC has delivered high-quality, in-demand academic programs and training since 1965, and we will continue to do so. The heart of our mission is to educate a skilled workforce, prepare students to successfully transfer to four-year schools, enrich the community through lifelong learning, and be a sound financial steward of public dollars. It’s embedded in everything we do at THE Community’s College.
