Lower tuition rate for nearby Illinois residents!
There’s good news for Illinois residents. Eastern Iowa Community Colleges offers a special tuition for residents living near our Iowa border.
Tuition for the 2021-22 academic year is $200 per credit hour. That's the same tuition we charge for our online classes.
If you're a resident in the nearby Illinois counties of Carroll, Whiteside, Rock Island,
Mercer and Henry you're eligible for this special rate, more than $45 PER CREDIT HOUR
off our normal out-of-state rate.
This rate is available for students attending Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges as well as all of our satellite locations.
And, financial aid is available!
What's even better, is for the first-time ever we're offering flat-rate tuition for full-time, on-campus students. That means you pay for only the first 12 credit
hours in which you enroll - take 12 credit hours and get six more FREE! The additional six credit hours can be on-campus or Live Online.
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges deliver a number of unique programs not available at other area colleges. The special tuition rate, combined with our new flat-rate tuition, provides better access for those students who reside in the colleges’ greater service area but just happen to live east of the Mississippi River.
Among the more unique programs are:
