We lowered our tuition rate for nearby Illinois residents!

Students in class

There’s good news for Illinois residents living near the Iowa border, beginning this past fall we have a new, lower, tuition rate for you!

Tuition for the 2017-18 academic year is $177 per credit hour. Residents in the nearby Illinois counties of Carroll, Whiteside, Rock Island, Mercer and Henry are eligible for this tuition rate.

This rate is available for students attending Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges as well as all of our satellite locations.

This is the second year for this reduced rate... it's not a one-time offer. And by the way, financial aid is available too!

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges deliver a number of unique programs not available at other area colleges. This special tuition rate provides better access for those students who reside in the colleges’ greater service area but just happen to live east of the Mississippi River.

Among the more unique programs are:

Of course the new tuition rate applies to all of the college’s more than 50 career programs as well as its general education classes and transfer program. The colleges maintain formal transfer agreements with state universities and private colleges that make it easy for our graduates to transfer to four-year institutions.
