Get Paid While You Train for a Career in Manufacturing
If you like working with your hands and want a real job — not just more school — FAME is for you.
Through the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME), you get hired by a local manufacturer, earn a paycheck, and train for a high-demand career in advanced manufacturing.
You work three days a week on the job and spend two days a week training at EICC’s Blong Technology Center.
In about two years, you earn an Industrial Maintenance Associate of Applied Science degree and real work experience — often with a full-time job offer waiting.
What Is FAME
FAME is a hands-on, earn-and-learn program built by manufacturers who need skilled maintenance technicians.
