Two professionals from Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) have been recognized
                        for their outstanding contributions to career and technical education in Iowa.
                     
                      
                              	Hansen, a leader in student support and career guidance, received the Counseling and
                        Career Development Professional Award. She was recognized for bridging the gap between
                        education and employment through strong industry partnerships, credentialing initiatives,
                        and comprehensive student outreach. Her student-first approach has helped hundreds
                        of learners pursue meaningful academic and career pathways.
                     
                      
                              	"These award recipients and nominees represent the best of what Career and Technical
                        Education stands for," said Dr. Tara Troester IACTE Awards Co-Chair. "Their dedication,
                        creativity, and commitment to student success make CTE not just a program, but a life-changing
                        pathway for Iowa students."
                     
                     The ceremony featured handcrafted trophies designed by students and staff from Des
                        Moines Central Campus, highlighting the creativity and craftsmanship fostered by Iowa’s
                        CTE programs.
