A new partnership between St. Ambrose University (SAU) and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is making it easier for SAU online nursing students to complete their degrees. This agreement builds on an existing joint enrollment agreement that allows EICC students to take pre-approved courses offered by SAU that count when they transfer to complete their degrees. 

Through this new guest enrollment agreement, students enrolled in SAU’s Nano Nagle Online Nursing Program can now take approved EICC courses that count toward their SAU degree. The program was created by both institutions to help students, especially in more rural areas, access courses they need, where they’re at. EICC has three main campus locations in Iowa: Bettendorf, Clinton, and Muscatine. 

“This is a big win for students who want flexibility, affordability, and quality education in the Quad Cities region,” said Amy Novak, president of St. Ambrose University. “Our online nursing students now have more ways to learn with fewer limits. It’s proof that when universities and community colleges work together, we can truly expand access to quality education.”
