Clinton Community College (CCC) student leaders were recognized by the CCC Alumni Association at the annual Student Leader Luncheon.  These 41 students were nominated by the CCC staff and faculty for showing leadership in the classroom, on campus and in the community.

Keynote speaker for the annual event was Iowa State Senator Mike Zimmer who joined the Iowa Legislature in January of 2025.  Senator Zimmer has a resume that includes education, construction, and business leadership.  His message to the student leaders focused on building relationships along with life skills.  CCC President Dr. Brian Kelly and CCC alumnus/CCC Executive Assistant Jenny Green also served in the event.

CCC President Dr. Brian Kelly commented, “We are fortunate to have so many talented and dedicated students, our students are amazing leaders. Their commitment to themselves and others help to create a student-centered atmosphere on campus.”
