Whether you're just starting or almost ready to register, this event is designed to help you accomplish your college goals – all in one visit. We’ll meet you wherever you are in the process and help you take the next step with confidence.

At this event, you can:

  • Apply to Eastern Iowa Community Colleges
  • Take the ALEKS math placement assessment
  • Meet with an advisor
  • Register for fall classes
  • Submit your FAFSA (bring your FSA ID - see important info below!)
  • Learn about scholarships and financial aid
  • Pay for classes
  • Get your student ID
  • Explore student activities and campus resources
  • Take a campus tour
  • Connect with HISET staff (for those pursuing a high school equivalency)

Planning to submit your FAFSA at the event?

Be sure to create your FSA ID at least 3–5 days in advance to ensure it’s ready in time. If you're a dependent student, one of your parents will also need an FSA ID to complete the application.
