Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is excited to announce Scott Community College (SCC) Belmont Campus, Muscatine Community College (MCC), and Clinton Community College (CCC) will be open on Saturday, August 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to assist students with advising, financial aid, and registration for the upcoming fall semester.
This special event provides a valuable opportunity for students to register for classes, meet with advisors, and get their financial aid questions answered—all in one convenient location. As an added bonus, attendees will receive a free t-shirt and have the chance to enter a drawing to win a set of AirPods.
At SCC's Belmont Campus, students can also enjoy a free lunch, courtesy of La Flama's food truck, which will be serving up delicious meals throughout the event.
With fall classes beginning on August 26, this is the perfect time for students to finalize their registration and ensure they are ready for the new semester.
FAFSA Assistance Available
Students who still need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are encouraged to take advantage of the expertise provided by representatives from the Iowa College Access Network (ICAN). ICAN will be on hand at each campus to guide students step-by-step through the FAFSA process, ensuring they have the financial support they need to succeed.
ICAN is a nonprofit organization committed to helping students and families across Iowa with college and career planning, financial aid guidance, and other resources. Their mission is to make college and career success accessible to all Iowans.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to get ready for the fall semester—join us on Saturday, August 17!
