Art of Gardening Seminar
Participants in the daylong seminar can choose up to four breakout sessions to attend on topics including rain gardens, hybridizing, trellis gardening, hydroponics, perennials, and more. For an additional fee, they can take part in hands-on, take-home workshops. Those sessions include worm composting, miniponics, beginner bonsai, and organic recycling. There will be a variety of vendors on hand to highlight the latest garden products.
The seminar runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Muscatine Community College’s Strahan Hall, 152 Colorado St., Muscatine. Registration is $50 and includes lunch. Note that some sessions have additional workshop costs.
Registration deadline is March 8.
