Eastern Iowa Community Colleges serves Clinton, Muscatine, Scott, and Jackson counties as well as parts of the Cedar and Louisa Counties. The administrative offices are located at our Scott Community College Urban Campus in Downtown Davenport. Located on the banks of the Mississippi, Davenport is the largest city of the Quad City Metro Area.
The region is home to the world headquarters of John Deere and HNI Corporation. Major employers include John Deere, Rock Island Arsenal, Unity Point Health-Trinity, Genesis Health Systems, HNI/Hon, HyVee, Arconic, Tyson, Kraft Heinz, Nestle Purina (Clinton), Guardian Industries (DeWitt) and HUSCO International, Inc. (Maquoketa). Amazon recently selected Davenport for a new facility that will bring more jobs to the region.
