Welcome to the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges Chancellor Search 2024-25. We are committed to ensuring the process of selecting our next Chancellor is inclusive, transparent, and reflects the values of our diverse community.

Your Voice Matters

We believe that every stakeholder – students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members – has a vital role to play in shaping the future leadership of our college. That’s why we are actively seeking your help in defining the qualities and experience we should look for in our next Chancellor.

How You Can Get Involved:

Share your thoughts on the ideal characteristics and priorities for our next Chancellor. Your feedback will help us create a comprehensive profile that reflects the needs and aspirations of our community.

Particpate in a Chancellor Profile Forum

We will be hosting several forums where you can provide direct feedback on the characteristics and priorities you feel are essential for the next chancellor. These forums will take place on the following dates:

We invite nominations from faculty, staff, students, and community members who wish to participate in the search process. Serving on the hiring committee is a unique opportunity to ensure a broad range of perspectives are represented in selecting our next leader.

Trustee Michelle Garvin will serve as Chair of the Search Committee.

Please complete the nomination form by September 30.

EICC will host a series of public forums with the finalist candidates. These forums are an excellent opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, ask questions, and share your feedback with the search committee.

Larry Ebbers, PhD., has spent his career shaping the future of higher education. In addition to a 50-year tenure at Iowa State University, Ebbers is known for founding key programs like the Leader Institute for a New Century (LINC), and the Community College Leadership Initiative Consortium (CLIC), both which have prepared countless community college administrators for leadership roles. His expertise and his dedication to fostering diverse, inclusive leaders has made a significant impact nationwide.
