Muscatine Community College
Muscatine Community College was founded in 1929 and enrolls more than 1,400 students each fall. The campus continues to grow and expand. Most recently, its Loper Hall underwent a complete remodeling and makeover in 2017 to become the Loper Student Learning Center with student meeting spaces, high tech workrooms, a coffee shop and more. Earlier, the new McAvoy University Center and Jeff Koch Science Wing addition were opened in 2010.
The college also offers services outside Muscatine through its centers in Columbus Junction and Wilton.
