Open Education Resources
Join us for a session on Open Educational Resources (OER). We will begin with a brief introduction to OER, highlighting how these freely accessible, openly licensed materials can enhance teaching and learning. Learn about the EICC OER Workgroup and their efforts to support educators in integrating OER into their classrooms. We will also highlight new resources from the Open Education Network and the Open Textbook Library, offering valuable tools for educators seeking high-quality, customizable content. The session will conclude with updates from the State of Iowa OER Action Team, sharing the latest developments in promoting OER across the state.

AI in Photoshop: Creative Power and Classroom Potential

Retention in Focus: Key Indicators and Classroom Impact

retention, DFW rates, course completion, and insights from Dropout Detective. Together,

Outcomes Matter- Understanding Student Success Beyond the Classroom
What happens after students leave our classrooms? This session takes a closer look
at key outcome measures, including graduation rates, the state’s Outcomes Dashboard
(placement rates and wage levels), and Regent University transfer data. Together,
we will explore what we know about our students’ success—whether they are entering
the workforce, continuing their education, or both.
We will review insights by program, campus, and student population, offering space
to reflect on how academic experiences influence long-term outcomes. Faculty will
be invited to consider how teaching, advising, and curriculum decisions play a role
in student success beyond completion.
This session offers both a big-picture view and actionable ideas—connecting institutional
