Employee Development Funds
The development of Eastern Iowa Community Colleges' faculty and staff is important
to the teaching and learning mission of the college. The Chancellor has established
two new funds to support ongoing education and training for employees: the Employee
Educational Advancement Fund and the Employee Professional Development Fund.
Employee Educational Advancement Fund
This fund will support tuition and course fees for bachelor and graduate-level education
or non-degree certifications. Deadlines are May 10 for summer and fall enrollment
and October 1 for spring enrollment.
Employee Professional Development Fund
This fund will support registration and travel expenses to attend conferences, workshops
and webinars; to participate in short-term training; or to bring in external speakers
or trainers for a specific purpose. Preference will be given to applications received
by May 10 for summer, by July 1 for fall, and by November 1 for spring.
