
Summer Fundamental Welding Certificate

Skilled welders are in high demand, especially in this region where manufacturing
reins. It is a great career- grab your spot. EICC prepares you to succeed. Earn a
Fundamentals of Welding Certificate in eight weeks this summer. Iowa’s Last Dollar Scholarship may even cover your tuition.
Take three online courses and three in-person at the Blong Technology Center. Spend afternoons hands-on in the lab, refining range of industrial techniques: ARC, MIG, TIG, core wire, and gas.
This short-term certificate is a quick first step into the workforce. Or keep going and earn a diploma at EICC. With this training, you can take a job with a small shop or Fortune 500 firm. Choose your industry: construction, transportation, infrastructure, defense, and more.
The certificate consists of three online courses and three in-person courses. In-person courses will be held in the mornings, and students will have open lab time in the afternoons.

- WEL-365 - Flux Core Arc Welding & Metal Cutting - In-person
