Join a Season of Giving Blood Drive on Dec. 22
12/20/22
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Dec. 22 at the Scott Community College Urban Campus, 101 W. Third St., Davenport. Community members are encouraged to join faculty, staff, and students in supporting ImpactLife’s Season of Giving.
ImpactLife is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to more than 120 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. ImpactLife collects blood at 22 fixed site donor centers and at more than 5,000 mobile blood drives held each year.
According to ImpactLife, blood donations are projected to decrease 20% between Dec. 25 - Jan. 1 due to holiday events and travel, which can lead to critically low blood inventories in the days ahead.
Carolers from Davenport Central High School will serenade donors between 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and all donors will receive their choice of a $20 gift card or donation to Feeding America. Masks are optional and appointments are required.
