Holiday hours and Spring Registration
12/2/22
Registration for spring classes is underway at Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC). The spring semester begins January 17, but with the Holidays upon us that date will be here before we know it.
Gone are the days of waiting until August to start a college or technical education. EICC, which includes Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges, begins new sessions at various times throughout the year. Many of the college’s students will begin their college careers with the spring session.
The college will be closed for break December 24 – January 2, but we will back on January 3 to help students register for the semester if they have not done so already.
The full course schedule is posted online and new students are encouraged to start the admissions process as soon as possible to ensure they get the classes they want, when they want them.
EICC is THE Community’s College with a wide variety of options ranging from a college transfer program for students interested in completing a bachelor’s degree or beyond, to 32 career programs for those wanting to enter directly into the job market.
College transfer students are guaranteed their credits will transfer once they finish here thanks to formal agreements the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, St. Ambrose University, Western Illinois University and others who have signed with EICC.
The colleges’ technical programs range from advanced manufacturing and auto to nursing and business, with everything else in between. Faculty maintain close relationships with business leaders to make sure they are teaching the skills that are most in demand in today’s job market.
In addition, EICC’s tuition is one of the most competitive in the state of Iowa and many grant, loan and scholarship options make a college education possible for everyone.

- All Eastern Iowa Community Colleges facilities will be closed December 24 – January 2 for winter break.
