There’s still time to register for EICC’s accelerated Winterim Semester
11/22/21
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is excited to offer a variety of accelerated
courses during its Winterim session, December 22 – January 23.
Winterim classes are a great way for students to get ahead on the upcoming semester or catch up on a class they may have missed this past year. The accelerated, four-week, online classes allow students to pick up two to three credits while they are on winter break. Classes are open to both current EICC students as well as students from other colleges and universities. The credits easily transfer to students’ home institutions, saving time and money.
EICC offers courses in many in-demand subject areas, including business, sociology, history, mathematics, health and more. Students are encouraged to register early to ensure they get the class they want!
Current EICC students can register by contacting their advisor. Students from other colleges may enroll as a guest student with EICC by filling out a simple application and registration form. Guest students must be in good standing at their home college or university. Enrollment is limited to one Winterim class per student, and classes are not available to high school students. The deadline to register is December 20, but registering early is strongly encouraged.
As THE Community’s College, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges ensures a high-quality, flexible and affordable education is available to everyone. With more than 30 career/technical programs leading directly to employment, Associate’s Degrees with seamless transfer to four-year colleges and hundreds of Continuing Education courses, EICC provides the education and training students need to reach their educational and professional goals.
