CCC and YWCA offer Chinese Culture Options
The City of Clinton has welcomed Chinese students to the community. Clinton Community College is working to provide classes for those who wish to learn more about the country of China. There are a series of upcoming presentations to deepen your understanding of the Chinese culture.
Delivered in partnership with Dr. Ping Dou, the YWCA and Clinton Community College, these classes are all just one or two days in length and cost just $5 for classes held at CCC and $10 for the class held at the YWCA.
- Acupressure Self-Help

Learn the points, and learn the pressure points that will help with headaches, insomnia, dizziness, vision and much more. All will help your well-being.
- Taiji Reunion
Tuesday, June 4 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
CCC Auditorium, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton, IA.
A reunion for all Ping’s Taiji class participants. It will be an opportunity to showcase our skills, discuss techniques, chat, and a light Taiji refresher session. Wear workout gear/loose fitting clothes.
- Walking Qigong/Taiji Walk Class
Wednesday & Thursday, June 5 and 6 at 2:00 p.m.

Clinton Community College is partnering with the YWCA to offer a Taiji walk class. Taiji walk is a number one basic movement for Taiji and it helps to build strength, balance, and coordination.
- Tea Culture & Health Benefits
Thursday, June 6 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

An overview of tea culture and the benefits of drinking different tea for health. Light snacks will be provided.
