Multifactor Authentication for Canvas LMS Instructions

Eastern Iowa Community College students taking continuing education that utilize Canvas classes will be required to login to the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) with multifactor authentication (MFA) beginning September 25, 2022. If you encounter technical issues, please contact the EICC Helpdesk at 563-336-3456.

MFA is a two-step process to ensure security for your Canvas LMS account.  The first step is to login to the Canvas LMS with your username and password.  You will have three options.  We have provided the three options below with illustrations to help you complete the MFA process.  Please note you will only need to choose and implement one of the three options.
