
Student Requirements
Health Insurance
Each student must have an insurance plan to cover any injury or illness requiring
hospital treatment or surgery. A copy of this insurance card must be turned in to
the program director by October 20.
Health Requirements
All students are required to submit evidence of good health. A physical examination
and immunization form must be completed and signed by physician. This must include
a rubella titer or vaccination, tine test (mantoux) and tetanus. These forms must
be turned in to the program director by December 15.
CPR
All health students are required to show proof of successful completion of Basic Cardiac
Life Support, (BCLS) Health Care Provider class with Automatic External Defibrillator
(AED) skills testing. A copy of your current card must be turned in to the program
director by October 20. These must by through the American Heart Association. (Red
Cross not accepted).
