General Education Requirements for Journalism

Communications:

  • SPC:112 Public Speaking, 3 credits


Social Sciences:

  • POL:111 American National Government, 3 credits
  • PSY:111 Introduction to Psychology, 3 credits
  • SOC:110 Introduction to Sociology, 3 credits


Computer:

  • CSC:107 Computer Literacy, 3 credits
  • CSC:110 Introduction to Computers, 3 credits

Journalism/Communication requirements vary depending on the transfer institution. Choose elective courses as needed to complete the 62 credit hours required of an Associate Degree.
