February 6, 2021
Clinton Community College will host the 40th Annual B-rrry Scurry 4-Mile Run on Saturday, February 6, 2021. In the year of the coronavirus pandemic, the B-rrry Scurry may look different than the previous 39 years. However, what will look the same is that proceeds of the race benefit CCC students through B-rrry Scurry scholarships.
How will the 2021 CCC B-rrry Scurry 4-Mile Run look? Like CCC students enrolled in on campus, on line, and hybrid classes, the B-rrry Scurry will include racers running on our route and others running virtually around the world. All will receive the special one-of-a-kind 40th Anniversary B-rrry Scurry medal.
All participants receive the official, originally-designed TECH race shirt (runners LOVE this shirt!), have their names listed in the Clinton Herald, and are eligible for some great door prizes. The B-rrry Challenge encourages area businesses and organizations to get involved while competing for the top award.
Weather will be a factor as in years past. In Iowa, February temperatures range from 60 degrees above zero to 20 degrees below zero. We never know what to expect!
A 6-week training schedule is available for those runners and walkers who would like to complete the 4-mile run.
Call Clinton Community College for more information – 563-244-7040.
See YOU on Saturday, February 1 for the 39th Annual B-rrry Scurry!
HyVee is sponsoring the Mississippi River Challenge.
If you complete the following three races, you will receive a Special Commemorative Specially crafted medal.
