MCC - Campus Visit Form
Bio
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration from WIU QC and
currently working on a Master’s in Higher Education Leadership from WIU QC
Why Community College?:
Community Colleges are a great starting point for any student! We offer high quality
education at affordable prices. We have faculty and staff who take the time to get
to know the student, and activities and events to keep you active on campus. With
flexible schedules and different classroom options, we have something for everyone.
The best thing about working with students:
I love working with students and seeing them progress through their education. College
was not a straight path for me but I persevered and having an education changed my
life. I love when I can see the changes in our student’s lives as well!
Other random information:
I have worked in student activities and advising in community college, and I believe that being involved on campus can make a huge difference in your education. I am married and have two young children, and I love watching them in their sports and activities. I love a good book and cozy spot to read, and you can often find me volunteering for my kids school or cheering on any Chicago sports team!
