Technology Services to Students – Fall 2021
At Eastern Iowa Community Colleges we don’t want access to technology to be a barrier to education. We know some students don’t have ready access to computers and other equipment. That’s why, beginning with the start of classes this Fall, we are offering new and former students the following opportunities:
Full-time students (12+ credits)
Laptop (Provided for student use as long as they are continuously enrolled as FT for fall and spring)
Hot Spot (Provided for student use as long as they are continuously enrolled as FT for fall and spring)
Part-time students (6-11 credits):
Technology package – headset, camera (Provided for student use as long as they are continuously enrolled as PT for fall and spring)
Fall 2021 Enrolled Students can request their technology by submitting this form: http://web2.eicc.edu/forms/new/technology-support-request.php
Of course, students always have access to the modern computer labs at our colleges and other locations. We also understand you might need WiFi during hours our buildings are not open, or maybe a location closer to your home, so we have provided a list of public sites you can use.
(Technology will remain property of EICC but will be loaned out to students for as long as they are continuously enrolled.)
