March 19 Student Communication
As COVID-19 continues to spread across our country and state, we are seeing a dramatic shift in the way we are conducting daily life in order to slow the spread of the virus. The situation is evolving quickly, and today, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges - Clinton, Muscatine and Scott are making the difficult decision to close our college campuses and to suspend previously announced services to students on campus.
Protecting the health, safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff and our community is our first priority. All campuses will be closed at 2 pm today, March 19 through April 12. We continue to plan to return to normal operations on Monday, April 13.
The college will continue to offer online classes and all face-to-face classes will transition to online delivery (CANVAS) starting on March 25 until April 12 as previously communicated. We will send details regarding the online transition next week. Faculty will begin posting content starting on March 24.
