Workforce Training Manager

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is seeking a full-time Workforce Training Manager in our Continuing Education Department.

Under the direction of the Director of Workforce Innovation, this position will be responsible for non-credit programming geared toward creating a pipeline of skilled workers in targeted industries. In addition, this position will manage staff working with programs such as apprenticeships, etc. This position will work with community partners to conduct outreach.

Qualifications will include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, education or related field required.  Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of management experience required.
• Proven experience with planning and program development.
• Must possess attention to detail, a positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have exceptional computer and technology skills.
• Must possess advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Must demonstrate flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team
• Proven experience working on multiple projects, tracking and prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
