Speech Instructor

Muscatine Community College is seeking a full-time Speech Instructor (165 Day Contract).

Under the direction of the Dean of Instruction this position will be responsible for: Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in Speech. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.

Qualifications will include:

Master’s degree in Speech or Communications or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate study hours with at least 12 GHS in speech and/or communications and 6 GSH from Drama/Theater, English, Homiletics, Linguistics, Mass Media, Speech Pathology, and/or Rhetoric is required.
Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.
