Admissions Coordinator

Muscatine Community College is seeking a Ft. Admissions Coordinator

Under the direction of the Assistant Director for Admissions and Youth Outreach this position will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting students for all EICC programs. Represent the college at a variety of functions, and to diverse populations. 

Qualifications will include:

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Experience in providing educational services or work in marketing or sales preferred.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a comprehensive community college is required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse student population as well as the entire campus
  • community is required.
  • Previous experience in working with business/industry is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule with some evening and weekend assignments being required.
  • Must have effective organizational, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must maintain a commitment to providing quality service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees and vendors and possess professional integrity.
