Lead Help Desk Specialist

EICC is seeking a Ft. Lead Help Desk Specialist (Salary Level F)

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Information Technology Services, this position will be responsible for supervising the operation of the EICC IT Help Desk. Assists students, faculty, and staff with addressing their technology questions, requests, and issues.

Qualifications will include:

  • Associate Degree with major in computer science or management information systems; or equivalent work experience with knowledge of computer applications, operating systems, hardware, and peripherals.
  • 2-years required experience as a member of an IT Help Desk. 
  • Prefer one year of proven supervisor experience.
  • Must have ability to communicate and work well with students, faculty, and staff. 
  • Able to work flexible hours as needed to include after-hours, weekends, and holidays for on-call coverage.
  • Must have effective organizational, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse student population, staff, and external constituents.
  • Must maintain a commitment to providing quality service and professional integrity that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
