Full-time Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services Intermediary Network Coordinator (IVRS)

Under the direction of the Intermediary & Work-based Learning Activities Coordinator, this position will be responsible for: developing, delivering, and evaluating work-based learning opportunities for secondary school students with an IEP or 504 plan, potentially eligible and vocational rehabilitation eligible students. The successful candidate will serve as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for work-based learning.

Qualifications will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  
  • Previous experience working in social work or special education preferred.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and confidential information in a complex setting.  
  • Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must maintain the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Must have the ability to work with and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of a diverse student population, and external constituents.
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate a passion for helping students to achieve their full potential.
