Anticipated full time faculty openings

  • Scott Campus - IT AVR - Possess a Bachelor’s degree in the field of instruction or related field of instruction. Or possess a combination of education, training, and at least 6000 hours of relevant tested experience in the field of instruction in which the instructor teaches classes.
    Experience in AVR, Game Design, or Graphic Design with relevant degrees and/or certifications is preferred. The ability to teach courses in Augmented and Virtual Reality and other classes in the Programming Department is needed. Experience teaching at a community college is preferred. Must have the ability to work with a diverse student population, staff, and external  constituents. Must maintain a commitment to providing quality service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers. Must possess the attitude, knowledge, skills, and motivation necessary to create an effective learning environment. Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Clinton Campus - IT Programming - BA/BS degree in web design/development or related computer programming (appropriate work experience may meet this qualification).  Associates degree in web design/development or computer programming field, with three years of recent and successful work experience in web design/development or computer programming required.  Ability to teach Programming Language courses, particularly in these areas; C#, NET programming; Java, and programming logic.  Demonstrate proficiency in: Windows and Mac OS, HTML, CSS, PHP, Node.js, Photoshop, Illustrator, SQL, ASP.Net(C# or VB), Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Swift (IOS) and Office related products.  Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, web development and mobile development preferred.  165 Day Contract

  • Muscatine Campus – Criminal Justice & Sociology- Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:  Master's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice or a master's degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Sociology. A master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology, and Criminology. Formal training and professional experience in criminal investigation is preferred.  165 Day Contract

  • Scott Campus - Biology/Human Anatomy and Physiology Instructor - Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Biology, a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in biology or related disciplines, or an advanced degree to practice medicine. Coursework must provide a foundation for teaching courses in general biology, human anatomy and physiology, and nutrition. Experience teaching at a community college is preferred.
