College Customer Care Specialist

EICC is seeking an FT. College Customer Care Specialist. This position will be located at the Urban Campus, Davenport.

Under the direction of the Chief Communications Officer, this position will be responsible for:

  • Serving as a Customer Service Representative of EICC for prospective, new and returning students. This position will provide accurate and timely information to students and the community.  In addition, this position will be responsible for providing customer service in-person, via telephone, and electronically. 

Qualifications will include:

  • Associates degree required.
  • Two years administrative assistant/customer service/student services experience with proven increasing levels of responsibility preferred.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software and have the ability to perform record keeping and scheduling using various college computer systems.
  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse student population, staff, and external constituents.
  • Strong human relations skills, a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to develop a broad base of knowledge of EICC programs and services.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, including possible evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Personal initiative and strong customer service ethic required.
