Join the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges' Continuing Education team of instructors.


We are seeking part-time instructors who are committed to student success.

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges' Continuing Education department is seeking part time instructors who have a passion for educating and sharing experience and knowledge, while enjoying flexible work hours and a wonderful work environment.  Must be willing to teach on campus face-to-face.

The following employment opportunities are available:

  • Certified Nurse Aide Instructors


    Qualifications include:

    • Must have 2 years.
    • RN experience and a valid RN license.  
    • Long Term Care experience preferred. 
    • Work days are Monday - Thursday (day hours).

  • Truck Driving Trainers


    Qualifications include:

    • Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL w/ Tanker Endorsement.
    • Must have minimally 5 years. of verifiable driving experience with Class A CDL. 
    • Work days are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Computer Instructors


    Qualifications include:

    • Proven advanced level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PPT).
    • Work Schedule – 1 to 5 days per month, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..

  • Manufacturing Trainers


    Qualifications include:

    • Minimally 2 years of experience in welding, CNC machining, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics or robotics & automation. 
    • Previous teaching experience preferred. 
    • Work days – days and/or evenings, flexible scheduling.
