EICC is seeking a FT. Augmented & Virtual Reality (AVR) Developer & Product Specialist

(This position is granted funded and continuance is based on funding)

Under the direction of the AVR Project Manager, this position will be responsible for: implementing game functionality, translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into an effective and engaging simulation.  

Qualifications will include: 

  • Certificate or degree required in augmented and virtual reality development. 
  • Must have strong programming expertise and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with C# language and the Unity engine necessary.
  • Must be able to present and educate regrading AVR technology as a whole as well as latest projects.
  • Will need to be adept with the hardware/software necessary to capture video and sound to create videos at the team’s discretion.
  • Must possess an analytical mindset with the ability to identify potential issues in the development process, and the aptitude to quickly resolve them.
  • Must have the ability to work with a diverse student population, staff, and external constituents.
  • Successful candidate must be skilled in maintaining effective relations with administration and instructional personnel as well as students and the public.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
