University of Phoenix
University of Phoenix offers online Bachelor Degree programs. Please review the following
information closely as you consider and plan for transferring to this University.
How does the AA/AS/AAS transfer to University of Phoenix?
The AA/AS/AAS will transfer on a course-by-course basis meaning that the Registrar
at the University of Phoenix will review each course completed by the student and
determine whether it fulfills a course requirement in the student’s intended Bachelor
Degree program. General education requirements do vary between bachelor degrees at
the University. In addition to working with an EICC advisor, students should also
work with a University of Phoenix advisor for assistance in course selection while
earning their Associate’s Degree.
University of Phoenix provides a five percent tuition reduction and free Prior Learning
Assessment to students of Eastern Iowa Community Colleges who have earned their Associate’s
Degree. Students need to request this tuition deduction at the time they transfer
to the University.
