Ashford University

Ashford University, with a campus located in Clinton, Iowa, offers bachelor degree programs both on campus and online. Below are links to information you will find helpful as you consider and plan for transferring to Ashford University.

How does the AA or AS degree transfer to Ashford University?

The Associate in Arts (AA) degree will fulfill the general education core requirements of Ashford University. When you transfer your AAdegree with a minimum grade of C or higher in all courses, you will be admitted to Ashford with junior status.

The Associate in Science (AS) degree is a course-by-course articulation, meaning that the Ashford Registrar will review each course you transfer to determine whether it fulfills their general education requirements.   If you plan to complete an AS or if you plan to transfer to Ashford before completing an AA, you should carefully select courses using the Course Equivalency Guide created by Ashford University and posted on the Ashford website.

Through a 3 + 1 Partnership with Ashford University, a student may transfer and apply up to 90 community college credits to an online bachelor's degree.
