Information Technology Programmer

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges - District Office is seeking a Ft. Information Technology Programmer.

The Eastern Iowa Community Colleges has rapidly become the first choice for students seeking higher education in the Eastern Iowa region.  Located along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, EICC is a comprehensive community college with three colleges and 10 satellite locations serving more than 13,000 credit and 30,000 workforce and continuing education students each year.  

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Information Systems this position will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining District ERP systems (Colleague/Web Advisor) and customizations. Duties will include developing and implementing modifications to systems and application software. The IT Programmer will also assist with the development and maintenance of district Self-Service/API applications and SQL reporting system.

Qualifications will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of system and application languages.
  • Strong communication skills, troubleshooting skills and customer focus required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain knowledge of Ellucian Colleague system, WebAdvisor system, Envision Basic and Colleague Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, CSS, C#, HTML5, T-SQL, Microsoft Office Applications, web programming and additional programming tools.
