Engineering Technology Instructor
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges - Muscatine Community College is seeking a FT. Engineering Technology Instructor.
The Eastern Iowa Community Colleges has rapidly become the first choice for students seeking higher education in the Eastern Iowa region. Located along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, EICC is a comprehensive community college with three colleges and 10 satellite locations serving more than 13,000 credit and 30,000 workforce and continuing education students each year.
Under the direction of the Dean of Instruction this position will be responsible for:
- The Engineering Technology (ET) instructor will be the primary ET instructor on the MCC campus.
- This person will teach in the ET program and facilitate the learning environment.
- This instructor will also work with the district lead faculty and deans to develop,
evaluate, and coordinate the curriculum, identifying adjunct instructors, recruit
and retain students in the program, teach program courses, as well as serve as liaison
in the industry to connect with advisory council members and place students in internship
Qualifications will include:
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of industry experience.
