Engineering Technology--Electromechanical

  • Blong Technology Model for Curriculum Delivery
  • Day & Time:  Monday through Thursday, 5:30—9:30 PM (Evenings)
  • Term:  Year around need
  • Campus:  Blong Technology Center
  • Qualifications: Minimum requirements.  Education and experience:  Associate’s degree and three years of recent related experience.  Instructor must be proficient in electronics, PLCs, motors and drives as well as hydraulics and pneumatics, and experience in robotics and automation.

Thermodynamics (EGR-290)

  • Credit Hours:  3 credits, ($1,875 instructor pay)
  • Day & Time:  Tuesday & Thursday, 5:45 PM—7:15 PM

  • Qualifications:  BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a PE (Professional Engineer Certification) but a Master’s Degree is preferred; Post-Secondary teaching experience desirable.

Music Appreciation (MUS 100)

  • Credit Hours:  3 credits, ($1,875 instructor pay)
  • Day & Time:  Monday through Friday; 8/18/2014—10/15/2014
    • Class #1:  11:20 -1:10 a.m./p.m.
    • Class #2:  1:15 - 2:35 p.m.
  • Campus:  Davenport North High School (626 W. 53rd St.)
  • Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in teaching area or MA with at least 12 graduate hours in the teaching area.  Secondary and/or Post-Secondary teaching experience desirable.
